U.S., Argentina to 'work together' on biodiesel tariffs: U.S. embassy
The United States embassy in Argentina said on Friday it would “work together” with the South American country on agricultural trade issues, after the U.S. slapped tariffs on imports of Argentine biodiesel in a surprise move earlier this week.
The embassy’s charge d’affaires, Tom Cooney, said in a tweet that he met with Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie and Production Minister Francisco Cabrera. “A very collaborative dialogue about biodiesel and agricultural trade. We will work together!” Cooney said.
